Hotel Arista in Naperville, is the first LEED certified hotel in Illinois as recognized by the U.S Green Building Council (USGBC).

• 75% of our building receives natural lighting. All of the windows are double panes, energy efficient, and sound-proof. These windows also open, providing our guests with fresh air — an option generally not available in city hotels.
• Energy Star approved, extremely efficient windows with Low E, a highly reflective coating that protects interiors from infrared light. This keeps heat inside during the winter and outside during the summer, reducing the need for energy used for supplemental heating or cooling.
• Energy saving climate-controlled heating and ventilating systems are activated when the guest checks in and deactivated at checkout or when the guest leaves the room for a period of time. Thoughtfully designed, they can be maintained via a central network.
• Occupancy/light sensors in all administrative areas.
• Indoor LED lighting is energy efficient and motion sensored.
• State of the art, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, designed to customize temperature by individual zones in each guest room or suite, limiting use to specific needs.
• The heating and cooling system is controlled by our computerized building management system that allows rooms to be powered down when not in use and calibrated for specific occupancy expectations.
